Ciudad: Leon Guanajuato

This year I am honored to continue this missionary journey and continue this call God has placed over my life. I will be traveling to Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico May 1 -10 with a team of 8 Southeastern University students and will be working in the local community along with the church. We will be visiting rehab institutions, impoverished areas, hosting outdoor worship services and revival nights throughout the neighboring cities. Our team will be ministering mainly to young adults and families and would greatly appreciate prayers for our trip. Our prayer is that God would use our team to speak to many people and produce a graeater hope and faith in Jesus.

 Trip details and summary

Dominican Republic

During this trip we worked with the president of the youth in Assemblies of God and served in many small towns and had services outdoors for the community. We also served by washing hair and doing hair of the children in the community and then would preach the gospel to them and lead worship songs. We did prayer walks, worship and evangelism to Haitian towns within DR and prayed for freedom from witchcraft.

 Cuidad Juarez, Mexico

We worked with a local missionary who owned an orphanage and shared the gospel in the local church. We were able to lead worship, preach, share our testimony and dream for Mexico. We had a special event for married couples where the Pastors Rev. Luis and Rev. Julia Toro spoke to them.  We also have a program for all the young teens that day, where  I got to share a conference about identity in Christ.

Havana, Cuba

We worked with an Assembly of God leader and he took us around Havana to visit all the Pastors and Churches that had not received much support. We were able to minister to Pastors and pray over their families and ministries. We lead worship in churches and met up with all teams on the island for an event.  All the teams came together to pray for the Island and all people we would meet that night. The Southeastern University Student lead teams came together for an explosive service of about 1,000 young Cubans including about 100 American college students to see God move. We were able to lay hands and minister and many received breakthrough and Baptisms of the Holy Spirit.

 Isla do Marajo, Brazil

During Spring Break in February 2020 I had been given the opportunity to go to Brazil for 11 days. Our destination was in an island on the Amazon River called Isla Marajo and it took us about 17 hours on a boat to reach them from the mainland.  In that island we volunteered with a ministry called Construige that rebuilds homes for people living in slum areas. On this island we spent most of our time painting, cleaning, landscaping, and demolishing two abandoned buildings that belonged to an orphanage across the street. The goal was to remodel that area for more kids to live in, play in their playground and build a chapel for them to have service. But what really impacted us the most was building relationships and loving on the orphaned kids who had gone through so much hardship in their lives.

My team along with 4 other teams (total of 100 people) divided throughout Brazil stirring up the revival and sharing the name of Jesus to those who haven't heard. We went to love, serve, partner, and worship alongside the Brazilians. We wanted to be the hands and feet of Jesus, no matter what it looked like!

During this trip, we also partnered with a Brazilian movement called Dunamis that focuses on awakening a generation, establishing a KINGDOM CULTURE and transforming the community around them.

I would greatly appreciate you continue covering this nation in prayers.
