Are you healthy?

You’ve ever carried the weight of people’s expectations of you? Thinking like they would and hearing all their thoughts inside your head... I know that makes me sound a little crazy. But I’ve learned so many tough lessons this year. I’ve learned the need to let things go so I can grow...

Renewing your mind might sound like such a churchy phrase, but man I needed such a reboot. Honestly I’ve needed a refresh button so many times when I’ve let my emptiness become filled with deconstructive habits. I let my empty spaces of time and emotion get filled with unfruitfulness. To put life into perspective, if we’re not growing fruits or showing fruits, then we’re unhealthy.

So when you carry weight, it’s either made to strengthen you or slow you down. Choose wisely how you approach your life and things that come your way. They will either strengthen you or slow you down. Either way you will learn something from it.

But whether it’s people’s expectations or traffic while you’re driving, renew your mind. Refresh your thoughts in the moment and in every moment you feel you need to let go of something. These little moments of unfruitfulness can add up in the day, month and year. They can lead to areas of our lives where we feel stuck and unable to grow in.

Let old habits go so you can grow.

Let old identity go so you can grow.

Let yourself jump into something new, so you can grow.

Let that weight go, so you can grow.

LET IT GO, so you can grow.

“Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God.”

‭‭Romans‬ ‭12:2‬ ‭WEB‬‬

“And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.”

‭‭Philippians‬ ‭4:8‬ ‭NLT‬‬
