Dear Moms,

Updated: Oct 28, 2020

I have never felt the feeling of what it means to be a mother. I have not been one yet. But I have seen from amazing examples what a mother is like. I've learned that being a mother means always making sure everyone is ok. Being a mother means always asking and making sure your kids have food. Being a mother means probably thinking of your family almost 24/7. Being a mother I’ve noticed never has an off switch and is a full time job. It can be the most satisfying job to raise a child and see them grow. But it is also the best gift a child could have even if they’re grown. A mom never stops, never quits and never gives up on her family. Through sickness and health.

To have this special blessing means to always have a number one supporter, on OG chef, a problem solver and a constant one who always give wisdom even if her kids think they don’t need it.

A mother is she who can take the place of all others but whose place no one else can take.

A mom is a prayer warrior who fights for their children even when they are asleep. Today is a day to recognize that the prayers you pray in secret have not been in vain. There are things as children we do not know that you have done for us, but nevertheless we say thank you.

So Go moms! Today and everyday. So selfless, so kind, so hardworking. Moms deserve this day to be honored for everything they have done for their families. We love you and honor everything you have done for your children. God gave you the gift of a child, but once we were born you became a gift to us. Thank you for the love you’ve given us, for the tears you’ve brushed off our faces, and for the times you told us everything will be okay.

We never want to take for granted all you have done. Thank you for being our superhero and our special blessing.
